Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
Meet the Las Vegas Team Behind Ashby Chimney Las Vegas
This crew has swept thousands of flues across the valley, from Summerlin to Henderson to the older homes near downtown. We’re chimney people first. That means we show up on time, we respect your home, and we never recommend work you don’t actually need. Most of us have been doing this long enough to know Las Vegas fireplaces have their own quirks, and we’d rather explain those quirks than let them surprise you.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Nathan Corliss, Owner
Nathan has run Ashby Chimney Las Vegas since 2002, and he still walks jobs personally when the schedule allows. He’s the one who set the rule that every customer gets a written price before anything starts, and he’s the one who answers when a repair doesn’t hold up the way it should. His specialty is honesty on the roof: if a flue can be cleaned instead of relined, he’ll tell you. Off the ladder, he’s usually reading old technical manuals on masonry or trying to keep his truck organized, which is a losing battle he fights with good humor.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been sweeping and inspecting chimneys in Las Vegas for over a decade. He’s certified through the Chimney Safety Institute of America and handles the complicated jobs: double-flue systems, hard creosote that won’t budge, and liner assessments where camera work matters. Marcus is the guy who explains what he’s seeing in plain English, because he’d rather you understand your flue than just trust him. He’s also the crew’s resident desert gardener, which means he can tell you exactly why soot behaves differently in our dry air than it does back east.
Daniel R., Senior Installer
Daniel leads our repair and relining work, with hands-on experience installing DuraFlex liners and HeatShield resurfacing systems. He came up through masonry, so when a firebox needs rebuilding or a crown has cracked from years of scorching sun and flash rain, he’s the one we send. Daniel is meticulous to the point of obsession, which is exactly what you want when your repair guarantee matters to us. On his days off, he’s restoring a 1960s camper trailer, slowly and without much help from his kids, who are more interested in playing inside it than working on it.
Jenna S., Service Coordinator
Jenna is who you’ll probably talk to first. She answers the phone at (725) 220-6109, schedules your visit, and makes sure the price we quoted in writing is the price on your invoice. She’s been with Ashby for six years and knows the difference between a smoke smell that’s normal and one that needs a technician out quickly, because she asks the right questions before we ever send a truck. Jenna keeps the calendar running smoothly, which in chimney work in Las Vegas means knowing that everyone calls during the first cold snap of November and the week after a dust storm.
Carlos M., Apprentice
Carlos is in his second year learning the trade the slow, correct way: brushes, rods, inspection cameras, and a lot of hauling tarps up and down stairs. He’s working toward his CSIA certification and spends most of his week shadowing Marcus on sweeps and inspections. Carlos is the one who double-checks that floors are covered and that we leave your house cleaner than we found it. He’s also the reason our trucks always have an extra set of gloves in the right size, because apparently nobody else remembers to restock them.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on this team follows the same five rules, and we call them the Kingswell Way out loud because it keeps us honest. Say the price before work starts, in writing, every time. Show up when we said we would. Leave the home cleaner than we found it. Put the guarantee in writing on every repair. And if something fails inside the guarantee period, we come back and fix it at no charge, no argument. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it applies whether it’s Marcus running a camera through a flue in Green Valley or Daniel rebuilding a firebox in Centennial Hills. The crew changes as we grow, but the standard doesn’t.
